Brennan Patrick

G1
Hello, my name is Brennan Patrick. I am looking forward to being a part of the BCCIS team in Cairo! I am a passionate teacher who values creating a safe space for learners to grow and develop and building a strong community. I completed my first bachelor’s degree in Geology and continue to bring my passion and love of the outdoors and nature into my teaching. In
2014 I moved full-time to Canada and worked in Winnipeg as an Education Assistant. In 2016 I moved to BC and soon returned to school for my PDPP Bachelor of Education at the University of Victoria, focusing on Elementary Education.
After graduating I moved to Fernie, a small mountain town in Canada. I worked in the Elk Valley part-time teaching Computers and PE for grade 7, and part-time as a Teacher on Call. In the fall of 2019, I had the opportunity to move to Aberdeen, Scotland, and teach a P2 class (grade 1). I loved the opportunity to experience the world in a new place and to connect with the students and teachers there. Last year I moved back to Fernie and taught Kindergarten in Sparwood BC.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling, exploring nature, playing the guitar, skiing, hiking, yoga, and reading a good book. I am excited to be a part of the BCCIS family and become a part of the students learning journey.
