It’s hard to believe this will be my eighth year at BCCIS! I have watched BCCIS grow and thrive over those years, and it’s been such a pleasure to be a part of it. I’m looking forward to teaching English, Social Studies, and Art to my next group of Grade 7’s. This will be my fourth year teaching Grade 7 at BCCIS, as my first four years here I taught Grade 2.
A great educator once said, “Every child deserves a champion – an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be.” This is what I strive to do with each of my students, and I look forward to having that opportunity again this year at BCCIS.
