I am very excited to be teaching grade 2 at BCCIS. I am a teacher with a passion for learning and seeing students explore new ideas and get excited about new discoveries.
I was born and raised in Winnipeg Manitoba and Saskatoon Saskatchewan, graduated from the University of New Brunswick and completed a Post Baccalaureate at Vancouver Island University.
Before becoming a teacher, I spent 21 years working for the Government of Canada and was able to live in many different cities and provinces within Canada due to my work. My previous career was both exciting and educational and I loved my work very much, but I realized that my true passion was teaching. After much thought, I decided to retire to become a teacher. My love of travel and experiencing new things has brought me to where I am today, living in Egypt and teaching at BCCIS.
And finally, when I am not teaching I enjoy travelling, photography, and spending time with my husband, daughter, and 2 very spoiled cats.
