Marji Basso

Elementary Vice-Principal

My husband and I grew up in Prince Rupert, British Columbia where it is considered the rainiest city in Canada. We are high school sweethearts and moved to Oliver in the South Okanagan to raise our children. For the past 28 years I have taught mostly in the intermediate grades, but recently completed a post graduate certificate in Special Education. I believe that daily physical activity as well as a positive outlook are integral to learning. I am really excited to be part of the BCCIS team as an educator, but also as a learner to a new culture and country.
