BCCIS is pleased that over the winter break Fareda El Rakaybi, one of our grade 8 students, won the third place in The United States Junior Open squash championship. This championship is largest individual junior squash tournament in the world and is considered the third most prestigious junior open squash championship after the World Junior and the British Junior Open squash championship.

The 2016 US Junior Open squash championship hosted more than 900 players representing over 20 countries. In the G13 group, 48 participated and Fareda was able to compete aggressively and win 3rd place.

Congratulations Fareda for the great work from all of the BCCIS family. Keep up the great work, we’re very proud of you.
