Hello!

My name is Lina and I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher this year.  I am very excited to return to BCCIS for my fourth year as a KG1 teacher.

I am Australian Egyptian and I moved to Egypt 4 years ago. I strongly believe that the only way to do great work is to do what you love and teaching has always been my passion. This is what encouraged me to make a huge career shift after many years of being a pharmacist to become a teacher.  I completed my Early Childhood Education Diploma/practicum along with my First Aid Certification in Australia before moving to Egypt.  However, my teaching experience started earlier when I volunteered with the Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation where I had the opportunity to raise awareness amongst high school students.

I believe that all my students are like flowers, every child is special and unique, they learn and bloom, but not in the same way or day. I am dedicated to providing a safe and cooperative learning environment that allows all students to develop their Social Emotional/ Physical/Cognitive and Language domains through our play-based program.

I am looking forward for an explosion of new learning experience for both the students and myself!
